Wema Charity Foundation is a public charitable foundation founded in 2018 that supports sustainable community-driven development in Kenya. Wema Charity Foundation exists to support communities and duty-bearers to sustainably organize and address systemic barriers that perpetuate power imbalances, social justice, and poverty, hindering sustainable development.

Wema Charity Foundation works to enhance community growth and sustainability through philanthropy and local giving. We invest significant resources to build, strengthen, and sustain the core capacities of our communities by developing thoughtful, long-term collaborations with other actors, including governments, non-profit organizations, the private sector, and individuals, to advance social justice.

Apostle Dan Wema is a visionary leader, philanthropist, and the Chief Executive Officer of WEMA CHARITY FOUNDATION, a globally recognized organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged communities through sustainable development initiatives. With a strong foundation in faith-based leadership, Apostle Wema has spent over 8 years championing causes that address poverty, education, healthcare, and social justice.
Under his stewardship, the foundation has launched transformative programs that have impacted thousands of lives, including: Housing, feeding programs, scholarship schemes, or healthcare outreach. Apostle Wema is known for his commitment to holistic community development, blending spiritual guidance with practical solutions to meet the needs of vulnerable populations.
Apostle Wema’s leadership philosophy is rooted in compassion, integrity, and service. He is a sought-after speaker, inspiring audiences with his message of hope and the power of collective action. His dedication has earned him numerous accolades, including TUKUZA AWARDS-BEST PHLANTROPIST OF THE YEAR.
Beyond his role in the charity sector, Apostle Wema is an ordained minister, passionate about mentoring the next generation of leaders. He has collaborated with various international organizations to amplify the foundation’s impact.

Patrick Washiko
Manager

Patrick is a Manager with Leadership and Managerial Skills. He ensures that the Foundation achieves it's goals. He evaluates financial performances and sets policies.
He has a Diploma in Mission Training from Breakthrough Institute. Beside being a leader in Wema Foundation, he is also a business man who enjoys making a good relationship with people during his free time off from work.

Robai Injete Wanjala
Organizing Secretary

My name is Robai Injete Wanjala 26 years old,a Kenyan by birth from Kakamega county matete sub-county.I developed a deep love for Travelling, sports ,visiting old and needy people and listening to music as my hobbies. . My family, consisting of a single parent Dad and 7 siblings who played a pivotal role in shaping my values and ambitions.

I attended Chenjeni primary school and later joined secondary level in the same school. After high school I joined Tom Mboya University in Homabay county where I pursued BACHELOR in Education Science.During this time, I participated in Christian Union,clubs, and societies which allowed me to grow both socially,Spiritually and professionally.

After completing my education, I embarked on a career in teaching, finding fulfillment in helping both first and slow learners in different ways.

Geoffrey Kesekwa
Coordinator

Geoffrey Kesekwa is a Coordinator in Wema Foundation where he has devoted 90 percent of his time to work with Wema Foundation. He coordinates the overall activities done in Wema Foundation. Some of his main responsibilities in the Foundation are; Supervision of house building, making a follow up of the beneficiaries' progress, identifying the less fortunate in the society. Beside being a good leader, he is also good with communication making him an impressive coordinator. Geoffrey is an alumni of Breakthrough Mission Training Institute where he earned his diploma in theology.
